A STILL LIFE OF MOVEMENT
A visual poem on transformation
A change of air; of temperature and state of being. Glass changes its being through the air. Autumn announces itself with the first breeze, a wind that renders the glass — still burning hot — vulnerable.
Perhaps the fragility of glass has a season: Autumn.
A season where breath becomes breeze, breeze becomes movement, movement breathes life. A fragility that adjusts; a still life until the next breath.
In between, a suspended moment; weightless.
Perhaps fragility is a suspended moment, a fissure between what was and what will be. A breach opening onto new air; a new era; a way of being. A void breathed with life, or a breath filled with emptiness.
